It’s December. But, there’s no snow.😭🥺whhhhyyyyy?????!!!!! But I love December because you get to stay inside, and wear clothes that were supposed to be for summer, but it’s too hot inside. But it’s really about spending time with family. I finally finished my Chicago paper, and I get to relax. For now.....

For my Chicago project, I had chosen H.H.Holmes, a man who killled about 200 people during the  Chicago’s world fair of 1893. I had chosen this topic because of the background of the story. And because Ms.Haury said it’s a really good topic and that I should choose it. So I did! It’s pretty strange how all those people actually followed him to a house. I mean, who wouldn’t be suspicious? A man who just goes up to you and says, “Hey, come with me to a house that seems like a freak show!” I mean, the house he killed the people at was actually at a hotel, that had stairways that led to nowhere, and a maze with over 100 windowless rooms. I was just amazed. No he wasn’t born here but it it’s just surprising.

So.......Im writing this post, even when it was due last Friday. I didn’t really want to write about my thanksgiving...soooo, I chose to write about what I’m thankful for. So....yeah. I’m thankful for a lot of things, most of the time I don’t even care or realize how much I’m thankful for them. I’m thankful for my family or course, most of the time I don’t really....spend time with my family but...I’m still thankful. I’m thankful for my teachers, so far in the year and from last year in 5th grade. I’m thankful for all those people around me who support me and care for me. Without them I’d probably be alone feeling bad about myself. I’m thankful for everything actually. As much as I don’t know what everything and everyone is, it’s still good to be thankful for them.

Hello. My name is Minnie. Not like that talking mouse character one of my owners used to watch on the magic moving box that magically hangs on the wall. So let’s get to the point here. A few days ago my owners brought home a new dog. Yes. I new dog. How dare they! I was good to them! I kept the squirrels away in the summer, and other humans walking their dogs in the fall. 😒. I even peed on the  couch for them! And they still get a new dog after all these years! (3 to be exact) so the new owner stealer- I mean dog. Her name is Ginger. I heard them say she’s a spice. I don’t think that someone would like to eat something with a spice like her in their food 🙄. I’m the older one so I tried setting some rules. 1: no peeing on the couch. Hello my FISHI’s!!!! Hellloooooo! So, as you all know, Halloween was yesterday..... and this post is going nowhere....uggghhhhhhh whhhyyyyy......                                                   *after exactly 20 minutes of nothing* Ok and I’m back. So yesterday I was planning on going trick of treating with my cousin and for an hour. But what had happened was that my mom wanted us to go to a Halloween party and stay there. I was really mad about that, because I wanted to get lots of candy. The problem is that I had Youth Crossroads, an after school program, and it ended at 5. My mom said we couldn’t go trick or treating after 6. I was really mad about that, but I let it slide.... For now.......😡😑. In the end though, I got lots of candy, prizes, and more candy. Ms.Haury was talking about reviewing all of our work and our goals. I dont really think i reached any of my goals except for writing more in my notebook. 😑. but since Ms.Haury will see this post, i guess I have to try. 😪. I went through my old papers from the beginning of the year, and I saw lots of change. But....mostly not lots of change. one of my goals was to turn in my assignments before they are due. I got mostly 3, and one 4. Somethings i would like to change from my goals are trying more. The first week of school I didn’t really try. And that’s something i would like to work on. Some new goals i have for this quarter are to try a little more on my work and not get distracted. And thats about it.
